5th Test Sydney
In advanced countries we have mobile pitch covers with wheels. Both the MCG and the SCG appear not to have them and make do with some kind of hessian sheet. Fair dinkum.

We're gonna lose 3-1

Re: 5th Test Sydney
Probably not a bad thing for England as they can prepare for the ODI’s with Stokes and presumably Root coming back

ODI’s v NZ are on Feb 25 & 28 , Mar 3, 6 & 9
Tests start on Mar 22 & Mar 29

Think the t20 final between Aust & NZ is back on that tiny little postage stamp ground that the fat egg chasers run around cuddling each other on. Might as well play it on a tennis court

Fella has certain it got some wedge hermit!

Excellent game of cricket that, shame it's too late.

Roll on the ODI's!

Re: 5th Test Sydney
The only good thing about this series has been that shot of the Hornchurch West Ham flag this over. That’s seen some action over the years.

Re: 5th Test Sydney
All in all, Morgan has never been the problem anyway, it's the fact he's always been surrounded by players just as average.

Hence why our trophy cabinet looks like west ham's!!

Credit to him for at least getting the team having a go though.

Re: 5th Test Sydney
Root is clearly the best white ball cricketer we've ever had.

Without looking at the stats, I'm guessing it isn't hard for Morgan to have the most runs as he's probably players 50 more games than anyone else.

Re: 5th Test Sydney
He is England’s top run scorer in ODI’s isn’t he?
And presumably t20’s
His win record as ODI cricket captain I’m sure is also the best ever
Not sure who else would get the best ever tag

Re: 5th Test Sydney
Nice fishing sven.

Shows the difference though when he doesn't try any of the fucking ridiculous reverse sweeps that get him out all the time.

Same can be said of Maxwell.

Clean hitters who don't need all that bollocks.

England's bowlers have been very poor. Time for them to step up today

Re: 5th Test Sydney
England’s greatest ever white ball batsman Eoin MORGAN gets them to 194/7 with a brilliant 80no off 46

New Zealand need to get to 175 to qualify for the final

Re: 5th Test Sydney
He just cant help but be shite unfortunately.

Has to he someone out there who's more consistent, as his record in IT20's is pathetic. 2 x 50's in 28 innings as an opener is just about the worst of any player from all of the countries.

Backed Roy today, he's due one.

And munro for the kiwis.

Re: 5th Test Sydney
I imagine Roy is following instructions
He, Billings and Hales would be good to go out and take risks and not worry if it isn’t their day.
If 3 of the top 6 come off playing around Root as the pivot then you win.
That’s the modern white ball game

That young fella catching the ball was the highlight of the whole competition.

Re: 5th Test Sydney
Fuck me westie, getting the highest score means absolutely fuck all when the next 9 innings are shit.

Roy was out of form and deserved to be dropped. Since he was recalled to the 50 over team last year, he's scored over 400 runs at an average of 60+. I'd say he's worth persevering with.

Re: 5th Test Sydney
And that bowling by the kiwis this morning was probably the worst I've ever seen.

Felt like there were over 25 wides.

Good seeing the young lad catch 50,000 dollars though, superb.

Napier once smashed that majestic 158 or whatever it was, but that didn't mean he was worth an England spot.

The bloke is bang average unfortunately and incapable of playing the conditions meaning he gets himself out rather than making the bowlers work hard for his wicket.

England’s fate back in their own hands in the t20 triseries

Re: 5th Test Sydney
Grumpster's comments are not entirely without merit.
Roy has got out with a lot of poor strokes.

In fact, his record score came with a lot of chances which Australia failed to take.

I think he deserves to be in the side, but he does disappoint quite a lot. A bit like Warner for Australia.

Re: 5th Test Sydney
I'd like to know who Roy has naked pictures of, as there must be someone for him to keep getting in the team.

He's atrocious.

Is that the Jason Roy, who recently posted the highest ever ODI score by an England player, or another one?

Re: 5th Test Sydney
Always think it shows that the scheduling is shit when teams end up not picking their best teams for international matches
I know Stokes is still a fugitive but why no Root, Woakes etc
Because there are too many meaningless games
Still say international t20 should be knocked on the head.
If you must just have a World Cup every couple of years
